Schedule
- 4–6 hour shifts available
- Monday–Friday availability preferred
- Weekend availability occasionally
- Day shifts
- Holiday availability required during peak seasons
Position Overview
The Food Production Associate is responsible for preparing, assembling, and packaging products while maintaining strict quality, cleanliness, and food safety standards. This is a fast-paced production environment requiring focus, consistency, and efficiency.
On-the-job training is provided.
Key Responsibilities in Production & Quality Control
- Prepare cookies, chocolates, and confections according to established recipes and procedures
- Accurately measure, portion, mold, decorate, and package products
- Maintain consistent product appearance and quality standards
- Meet daily production goals while minimizing waste
- Monitor product freshness and storage standards
Food Safety & Sanitation
- Follow all food safety, sanitation, and allergen protocols
- Maintain a clean, organized workstation at all times
- Properly clean and sanitize equipment and surfaces
- Adhere to local health department regulations and company safety standards
Team & Accountability
- Arrive on time and prepared for each shift
- Communicate clearly and professionally with team members
- Accept feedback and direction constructively
- Take ownership of assigned production responsibilities
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and general operational support as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods (4–8 hours)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfortable working in a kitchen environment with ovens and warm temperatures
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and wrist movements
- Bending, reaching, and sustained physical activity required
Qualifications
- Fluent in English (reading and speaking)
- Basic math skills for measuring and portioning ingredients
- Ability to operate commercial kitchen equipment safely
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Food handling experience preferred but not required.
