Job Summary
OVC Plumbing is seeking a sales‑minded Marketing & Business Development Associate to support outreach, brand visibility, social media presence, and relationship building within the construction and plumbing industry. This role blends field‑based marketing with light sales engagement, social media content management, and strengthening partnerships with suppliers, builders, property managers, and local businesses.
This position begins as part‑time with the opportunity to transition into full‑time based on performance, growth, and company needs.
Candidates who bring existing industry contacts are strongly encouraged to apply. Established relationships are a major plus and may support direct‑hire placement with enhanced commission opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Industry Event Engagement — Represent OVC Plumbing at plumbing expos, construction trade shows, supplier events, and community functions.
- Relationship Building — Strengthen connections with plumbing supply houses, builders, property managers, and local businesses.
- Light Sales Outreach — Introduce OVC Plumbing’s services to potential partners and pass warm leads to the operations team.
- Social Media Management — Create and post content, highlight projects, promote events, and maintain consistent branding across platforms (Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, LinkedIn).
- Promotional Material Distribution — Deliver brochures, branded materials, jobsite signage, and service packets to strategic partners.
- Lead Support & Follow‑Up — Assist with CRM updates, follow‑up emails, and basic reporting.
- Territory Presence — Maintain a consistent, friendly presence across Orange County to keep OVC Plumbing top‑of‑mind.
- Logistics & Inventory — Track marketing materials, coordinate deliveries, and maintain an organized outreach calendar.
Qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Comfortable speaking with vendors, builders, suppliers, and field personnel
- Existing contacts in construction or plumbing are a major plus
- Experience with social media content creation or brand management
- Reliable transportation for local travel
- Ability to lift up to 30 lbs (event materials, boxes, signage)
- Organized, punctual, and able to work independently
- Prior marketing, construction outreach, or sales experience preferred but not required
