Responsibilities
- Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including beds, bathrooms, floors, furniture, and fixtures to ensure a spotless environment.
- Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms to uphold hotel standards.
- Perform floor care duties including vacuuming carpets, mopping hard surfaces, and applying appropriate cleaning techniques for different flooring types.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and linens to provide a comfortable stay for guests.
- Follow safety protocols during cleaning procedures and handle cleaning chemicals responsibly.
- Report maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management promptly.
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding sanitation standards, confidentiality, and guest privacy at all times.
Skills
- Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or custodial services within a hospitality or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of floor care techniques including vacuuming, mopping, waxing, and polishing floors.
- Familiarity with hotel operations and experience in housekeeping management is a plus.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely and efficiently.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Good physical stamina for standing, bending, lifting, and moving throughout shifts.
