Responsibilities
- Conduct PA safety/emission inspections--diagnostic work using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately.
- Perform repairs and maintenance on diverse vehicle systems including engine performance, suspension, brakes/ABS, HVAC and tires.
- Use hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other specialized automotive repair tools efficiently and safely.
- Communicate effectively within shop about repair needs, estimated timelines, and maintenance recommendations.
- Requirements
- Background with a strong foundation in automotive repair.
- Proficiency in reading schematics and diagnosing automotive electrical systems using modern diagnostic equipment.
- Mechanical knowledge across various vehicle components including engines, transmissions, powertrains.
- Hands-on experience with auto estimating software is a plus.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools safely and effectively.
- Valid driver's license, PA safety and emission license required.
Pay: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
