Type: Full-timeAbout the RoleWe are seeking a Business Analyst with strong technical and analytical skills to support our AML/BSA (Anti-Money Laundering / Bank Secrecy Act) compliance initiatives. This role focuses on bridging business needs with technology, creating clear reporting, and driving process improvements in a regulated environment. Prior deep AML expertise is not required — only basic familiarity is needed.Key Responsibilities
- Act as a Business Analyst to gather, document, and translate business requirements related to AML/BSA processes.
- Perform data analysis on transactions and customer data to support compliance monitoring and investigations.
- Develop professional, high-impact PowerPoint presentations and reports for management and regulators.
- Conduct data analytics using Excel, SQL, Power BI, or similar tools to identify trends and support decision-making.
- Support AML/BSA-related projects, system enhancements, and process optimization.
- Collaborate with compliance, technology, and business teams.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree (BA/BS) required.
- Strong Business Analyst skills with the ability to understand and document processes.
- Tech savvy with excellent proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and data visualization tools.
- Basic familiarity with BSA/AML concepts (no deep expertise required — training will be provided).
- Good data analytics capabilities and attention to detail.
- Professional presence and strong communication skills (comfortable presenting findings).
- Self-motivated and able to work effectively in a remote environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Business Analyst in banking, fintech, or regulated industries.
- Exposure to AML monitoring systems or compliance tools.
- Basic SQL or reporting tool experience.
