Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our team and drive the successful planning, execution, and completion of complex industrial projects. Duties
- Develop comprehensive project schedules using advanced project scheduling tools to ensure timely delivery of all project phases.
- Collaborate with design teams utilizing AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Schematics to produce precise drawings and system layouts.
- Oversee construction management activities including site inspections, quality assurance, and adherence to safety protocols.
- Utilize GIS platforms such as ArcGIS and HEC software for spatial analysis, hydraulic modeling, and system design validation.
- Prepare detailed construction estimates by applying construction estimating techniques and reviewing project specifications.
- Coordinate with geotechnical engineering teams for soil analysis and foundation design considerations.
- Conduct technical writing for reports, proposals, and documentation ensuring clarity and accuracy in communication.
- Manage project documentation including CAD files, schematics, inspection reports, and progress logs.
- Support land surveying activities and water/wastewater treatment system design processes as needed.
- Facilitate effective communication among stakeholders through drafting detailed project plans and schematics while maintaining alignment with project goals.
Experience
- Proven experience in project engineering within civil or mechanical engineering disciplines related to infrastructure development.
- Strong background in construction management practices with hands-on experience in construction inspection and site supervision.
- Proficiency in project scheduling software such as Microsoft Project or Primavera P6.
- Skilled in using AutoCAD, Revit, Civil 3D, MicroStation, ArcGIS, HEC-RAS/Hydraulics software, SWMM (Storm Water Management Model), Mathcad, and other technical tools relevant to system design and analysis.
- Familiarity with pipeline systems, hydraulics modeling, geotechnical considerations, water treatment processes, and wastewater management systems.
- Ability to interpret schematics, technical drawings, and construction documents accurately.
- Excellent organizational skills coupled with the ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
