Job Overview
Work for a local business where you're a person and not just a number. Pizagel's has been in business for over 30 years. Our crew gets to know regular customers by name and the vibe is more like a family and not just a place to earn pay. Successful candidates need to be available for weekend work. We have a day shift position open with shifts starting at 6am-7am that wrap up by 2pm so you have the rest of the day for yourself. We have an evening shift suited for part-time folks or flexible folks who work days and evenings. We will be interviewing this week and next week and selecting candidates so don't wait if this sounds like a good fit for you. MUST BE 16 AND OVER TO APPLY. NO EXCEPTIONS.
Duties
- Greet guests warmly with a positive attitude and assist them with their orders
- Prepare and serve food and beverages according to established standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and service counters
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve issues promptly, and ensure satisfaction
- Maintain a positive attitude and support the team
- Follow safety procedures and health regulations diligently
- Restock supplies and ensure all equipment is functioning properly to keep operations running smoothly
Skills
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with energy and enthusiasm
- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate seamlessly with colleagues
- Basic understanding of food safety standards and hygiene practices
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt quickly to changing priorities
- Prior experience in hospitality or customer service is a plus but not required
