A growing construction company is looking for a reliable Yard & Shop Laborer to assist with daily operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on work and helping keep equipment, materials, and the shop organized and running smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the yard and shop areas to promote safety and accessibility
- Assist with loading and unloading materials safely and efficiently
- Clean and prepare tools, trucks, and equipment
- Perform general shop maintenance and cleanup
- Assist mechanics and operators as needed
- Operate basic construction equipment such as forklifts or small equipment (experience is a plus)
Qualifications
- Strong work ethic and dependable attendance
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials
- Basic mechanical knowledge is a plus
- Prior experience in construction or equipment yards is preferred
- Valid driver's license
