Role Summary:
We are looking for a Trailer Sales Coordinator to support our Trailer Sales Team by coordinating equipment readiness, deliveries, and the documentation required to complete trailer sales. The Trailer Sales Coordinator works closely with the Sales, Service, and Administrative teams to maintain accurate inventory, prepare sales paperwork, coordinate equipment repairs, and ensure customers receive a smooth purchasing experience from start to finish. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Submit damage claims with repair orders to freight carriers and coordinate repairs upon approval.
- Coordinate damages and repairs with the Service Department, customers, and insurance carriers as required.
- Generate Local Purchase Orders (LPOs) for new and used trailers.
- Maintain accurate daily physical inventory logs for each yard and keep new and used inventory lists up to date.
- Prepare and attach specification sheets for new equipment inventory.
- Assign Utility Trailer Sales stock numbers to new, used, and consigned trailers and other equipment as needed.
- Process used and trade-in purchase packets.
- Review and complete sales order packets, including sales tax documents, sales analysis sheets, DMV paperwork, signed sales orders, customer-approved specification sheets, Federal Excise Tax (FET) calculations, payments, and other required documentation.
- Verify titles, consignment agreements, and all required paperwork for consigned equipment.
- Coordinate tire switches and complete the necessary worksheets.
- Process sales paperwork accurately and in a timely manner.
- Assist and greet customers as needed while providing excellent customer service.
- Follow all company policies, procedures, and applicable federal, state, and local laws.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Strong customer service and relationship-building skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to anticipate customer needs and provide appropriate solutions.
- Conflict resolution and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of trailer equipment and merchandise is preferred.
- Ability to operate or quickly learn the company's point-of-sale and dealership systems.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities
Salary: $23-$30 per hour, depending on experience

Physical Demands & Work Environment:
- Walking, standing, and moving throughout the office, warehouse, and trailer yard.
- Prolonged computer and screen time while processing sales documents and inventory records.
- Clear verbal and written communication with customers, vendors, insurance carriers, and team members.
- Occasional travel to other company locations for meetings or training.
- Office and warehouse environment using standard office equipment.
- Ability to walk up to one-half mile, stand for up to two-hour intervals, and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull up to 50 pounds.
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
