About Us:
We are a mission-driven animal care facility committed to the safety, health, and well-being of animals in our care. We're looking for a dependable and passionate individual to help oversee the daily operations of our facility, where compassion, cleanliness, and consistency are essential.
Responsibilities:
- Manage daily operations in alignment with the facility’s mission and procedures
- Maintain clean, safe, and well-stocked animal holding and storage areas
- Ensure high standards of care for all animals (feeding, sanitation, safety)
- Supervise and support assigned staff and monitor their performance
- Perform front desk duties: phones, scheduling, and customer service
- Conduct kennel cleaning and facility maintenance as needed
- Must be willing to perform physical labor and get dirty (kennel cleaning required)
Qualifications:
- 1 year experience in an animal shelter, kennel, or animal care environment preferred
- Must be able to work indoors/outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Able to lift 40–50 lbs with reasonable accommodation
- Basic computer skills
Skills and Attributes:
- Knowledge of animal health, behavior, and breeds
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Good judgment and decision-making in both animal care and customer service
- Reliable, flexible, and able to adapt to changing priorities
- Genuine interest in long-term work in the animal care field
Working Conditions:
- High noise levels, exposure to animal waste and cleaning chemicals
- Potential exposure to animal scratches or bites
- Frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting required

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

- Pet care: 1 year (Preferred)
