We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Feed Mill Rotation Labor to join our team in Broadway, VA. The ideal candidate will assist in the daily operations of the feed mill, ensuring efficient production and maintaining a clean and safe work environment. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work well in a team setting.
- Assist in the loading, unloading, and movement of raw materials and finished feed products.
- Operate and monitor feed mill equipment under supervision.
- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance tasks to ensure equipment and work areas are kept in good condition.
- Follow safety protocols and company policies at all times.
- Rotate through various tasks within the feed mill to support production needs.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
- Assist with inventory management and stock rotation as needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing or agricultural environment is a plus.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts as required.
This position involves working in a feed mill environment which may include exposure to dust, noise, and heavy machinery. Proper personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided and must be worn as required.
