As a Charge Nurse, you will oversee daily operations, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and quality. Your role is vital in fostering a collaborative environment that promotes resident-centered care and continuous improvement.

Duties
- Lead and coordinate nursing staff during shifts, ensuring efficient workflow and optimal resident outcomes
- Oversee resident assessments, vital signs, and comprehensive physical examinations using advanced medical terminology
- Administer medications, injections, IV infusions, and perform aseptic techniques following strict infection control protocols
- Document all patient care activities accurately within electronic health records (EHR/EMR systems) while maintaining strict HIPAA compliance
- Conduct diagnostic evaluations including laboratory specimen collection/processing
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams on discharge planning, case management, and long-term care strategies for diverse populations including geriatrics and individuals with developmental disabilities or dementia.
Skills
- Extensive experience working with EMR/EHR systems; proficient in medical documentation and medical records management
- Strong background in specialized nursing areas including long term care, hospice & palliative medicine.
