Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct Pre-Trip vehicle inspections to ensure safe Operation
- Drive a school bus route - picking up and dropping off student passengers at established stops on the route
- Drive bus in accordance with all Federal, State, Board of Education and New York D.O.T. Rules and Regulations
- Conduct post-trip vehicle inspections
- Maintain a clean bus on the interior
- Attend refresher classes (Two 2hr Classes Per Year)
Requirements:
- Experience working with students is preferred; Applicant must show a desire to work well with others and always place the best interest and safety of our students.
- Applicant must be able to obtain and keep a Class B CDL with P and S endorsements.
- We will help applicants attain their Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class B) with all necessary endorsements
- Be able to pass a pre-employment DOT physical and drug screening.
- Be able to pass a pre-employment background check

Pay: $25.00 - $36.00 per hour

- School Bus Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
- Commercial Driving: 1 year (Preferred)
