We are seeking a dependable, safety-minded Full-Time Morning Shop Assistant to support daily production activities and help maintain a clean, organized, and safe manufacturing environment.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone interested in learning about manufacturing and CNC machining. No prior CNC machining experience is required. Initial training will focus specifically on the responsibilities of this role, including basic machine operation, shop cleaning procedures, and safety practices.

Primary Responsibilities || CNC Machine Support
- Operate CNC machines that have already been set up by machinists
- Load and unload parts into vises and fixtures
- Start machine cycles
- Monitor machine operation and immediately stop the machine and notify supervision if anything appears abnormal or unsafe
- Perform other assigned shop duties during machine cycle times
Shop Cleaning & Maintenance
- Lead shop cleaning and housekeeping efforts
- Empty trash cans, chip bins, and chip collectors
- Sweep, mop, and scrub floors to remove coolant, oil, and debris
- Clean machines inside and out (training provided)
- Maintain proper coolant levels and concentrations in machines (training provided)
- Clean saws and other production equipment (training provided)
Organization & Inventory
- Organize raw material inventory and shop supplies
- Maintain tooling organization
- Clean and organize workbenches
- Ensure active jobs, setups, and tools are not disturbed
- Organize existing part inventory

- Follow all shop safety procedures and instructions
- Wear required PPE, including:
- Safety glasses
- Hearing protection
- Steel or composite toe, slip-resistant boots (employee provided)
- Use good judgment and common sense at all times
- Stop work and notify a supervisor when something appears unsafe, abnormal, or unclear
- Help maintain a safe work environment for yourself and others

Reporting Structure
This position reports directly to the Production Manager, Jesus, and will follow tasks assigned by him or other designated shop personnel in his absence.
