Job Summary
The Shipping and Receiving Specialist supports daily shipping and receiving operations for a select group of clients with contractual projects, ensuring all orders and materials are processed accurately and within stated turnaround times. This role requires strong attention to detail, the ability to meet tight deadlines, accurate inventory tracking, and proficiency in Excel and/or Google Sheets. The position also provides backup support for general warehouse operations as needed.
Essential Functions
- Perform shipping and receiving duties within established turnaround times
- Accurately unpack, pack, scan, label, and prepare products for shipment
- Track inventory daily and maintain accurate records using Excel and Google Sheets
- Create shipping labels and coordinate domestic and international shipments
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against documentation
- Prepare products and devices for shipment with proper documentation
- Consistently update shipment status and inventory records in internal systems
- Provide reports and live inventory counts on a daily, weekly and monthly basis
- Use Apple devices (iPhone, iPad, Mac) to scan, document, and update shipment and inventory information
- Communicate with internal teams regarding shipping details and quotes
- Assist with organizing, moving, and staging inventory
- Provide backup support for general warehouse operations, including organization and cleanliness
- Gift wrap, shrink wrap, and package products as required
- Lift, move, and handle boxes and materials safely
- Operate a forklift safely to move, stage, and organize inventory
- Run errands with company vehicles as needed to support operations
- Assist with additional duties and projects as assigned
Knowledge, Skills, Education & Experience
- Minimum of one year of experience in shipping, receiving, or warehouse operations
- Must be proficient at working on Apple Devices, including a Mac Computer, iPhone and iPad
- Experience and knowledge of keeping track of inventory Excel and Google Sheets for tracking and reporting
- Strong inventory tracking and organizational skills
- Ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong time management and multitasking abilities
- Ability to follow standard operating procedures and instructions precisely
- Clear written and verbal communication skills, including daily emails and notes
- Must possess and maintain a valid California driver’s license with a clean driving record that meets the Company’s vehicle insurance and driver eligibility requirements in order to operate company vehicles.
- Forklift certification will be required (training can be provided) and the ability to operate a forklift safely
- Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
- Positive attitude, patience, and ability to work well under pressure

- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly

Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM or 7:30-4:30 PM
