Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Elevator Technician to join our team, responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing elevator systems across various commercial, residential and industrial settings. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic knowledge, with a focus on ensuring safety, reliability, and optimal performance of elevator equipment.
Responsibilities
- Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair elevator systems including hydraulic and electrical components
- Read and interpret schematics, technical manuals, and wiring diagrams to accurately diagnose issues
- Perform routine maintenance to ensure elevators operate safely and efficiently
- Conduct safety inspections in compliance with industry standards and regulations
- Respond promptly to field service calls, providing effective solutions on-site
- Collaborate with clients to address concerns and explain repair procedures clearly
- Document all service activities accurately in company records
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment during all tasks
Requirements
- Proven experience in elevator maintenance or related industrial mechanic fields
- Strong mechanical knowledge with expertise in hydraulics, electrical systems, and schematics interpretation
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information effectively
- Ability to work independently in diverse environments and handle multiple service calls efficiently
- Valid technical certifications or licenses related to elevator systems are a plus
- Willingness to learn new technologies and stay updated on industry standards
- Must be able to pass background checks and adhere to safety regulations at all times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour
