ChromaGraphics is a commercial printing and signage company serving clients in Sonoma County, and nationwide, since 1975. With an emphasis on developing enduring and valuable relationships with our clients, we strive to provide value far beyond the printed product. With a consultative approach, we work with our clients to make their product perform better, gain the visual interest of their target audience, and fulfill their logistical needs. Our production capabilities are extensive including sheetfed lithography, sheetfed digital printing, flatbed signage, roll-to-roll signage, direct mail, fulfillment, and a full complement of prepress, finishing and technology to support our clients’ needs.
What the Job is…
To support our growing needs, we are looking to add an experienced bindery operator.
Core responsibilities include:
- Set up, make ready, and operate bindery and finishing equipment, including guillotine cutters, folders, saddle stitchers, perfect binder, multi-spindle drills, scoring/creasing and perforating equipment, padding equipment, and shrink wrap
- Finishing and sorting direct mail
- Preparing skids of product for delivery to customers and vendors
- Perform daily and scheduled preventive maintenance
- Experience and ability to run equipment or perform skilled tasks will increase the value of the position.
Who We Are Looking for…
All candidates must have at least three years of experience working in a print or sign shop (or similar setting), in addition to the following qualities:
- Prior forklift experience preferred, but we will train if necessary
- Ability to lift boxes weighing 50 pounds
- Strong attention to detail and a demonstrated record of catching errors before they leave the building.
