Position Summary
The Plumber is responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems in residential and commercial settings. This position requires strong technical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to delivering high-quality service while maintaining a professional appearance and attitude with customers.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems and fixtures.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot plumbing issues efficiently.
- Install water lines, drain lines, sewer systems, water heaters, fixtures, and related equipment.
- Perform plumbing rough-ins and finish work for remodeling and new construction projects.
- Conduct inspections and testing to ensure proper system operation.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and construction drawings.
- Ensure all work complies with local plumbing codes and company standards.
- Communicate effectively with customers regarding repairs and recommendations.
- Maintain accurate job records and documentation.
- Work collaboratively with HVAC technicians and other team members.
- Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in a clean and professional condition.
- Follow all company safety procedures and OSHA regulations.
QualificationsRequired
- Minimum 3 years of plumbing experience.
- Knowledge of residential and commercial plumbing systems.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 pounds or more and perform physical work in various environments.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
Preferred
- Journeyman Plumbing License.
- Experience with service plumbing and customer-facing work.
- Experience with new construction and remodeling projects.
- Backflow certification.
- Cross-training or familiarity with HVAC systems.
