Position Summary
We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused HVAC Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role is responsible for performing routine maintenance, system inspections, and minor repairs on residential HVAC systems while delivering excellent customer experience. The ideal candidate is mechanically skilled, safety-conscious, and motivated to grow within a stable, people-first organization.
Key Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventive maintenance on residential heating and cooling systems
Inspect HVAC systems to identify performance issues and potential repairs
Clean, adjust, and replace filters, belts, motors, and other components as needed
Document system conditions and maintenance performed using company tools/software
Communicate findings and recommendations clearly to customers and internal teams
Promote maintenance agreements and identify opportunities for system improvements
Maintain a clean, organized service vehicle and follow all safety procedures
Comply with EPA, local, and company regulations and standards
Qualifications
1+ years of HVAC maintenance or service experience preferred
EPA 608 Certification required
Basic knowledge of residential HVAC systems (gas furnaces, heat pumps, air conditioners)
Ability to troubleshoot minor issues and perform routine repair
Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
Strong customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
Physical Requirements
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
Comfortable working in attics, crawlspaces, and outdoor environments
Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and climb ladders throughout the workday
