We are expanding our engineering team in Austin, TX, and looking for mission-driven AI/ML engineers ready to apply cutting-edge technology to challenges that genuinely matter.

Responsibilities
What you'll do
- Design and develop AI-driven features for POD Health's mobile health application, including ML and deep learning algorithms for real-time health tracking and personalized therapy recommendations.
- Analyze pediatric health data including behavioral patterns, developmental progress, and genomic information using Python, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Architect and implement LLM-based pipelines integrating OpenAI, DeepSeek, and Tavily APIs, including retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and vector database systems.
- Engineer automated data extraction pipelines for FDA and CPIC guideline curation across large biomedical publication datasets.
- Integrate AI/ML models into mobile applications and optimize for performance, accuracy, and scalability.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare data privacy standards, including HIPAA.
- Collaborate with mobile developers, data scientists, and healthcare professionals to align AI recommendations with medical best practices.
Skills
What we're looking for
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, or a closely related field.
- At least one (1) year of specialized experience in machine learning and AI development.
- Key Technologies - Python, TensorFlow, PyTorch, OpenAI, API, DeepSeek, Tavily, RAG, LLMs, Vector DBs, HIPAA, Deep Learning, Genomics
- Ability to work on-site at our Austin, TX office. No remote or hybrid arrangements available for this role.
