Long Island Adolescent and Family Services (LIAFS) is a not-for-profit Social Service agency that provides residential and ancillary services to male and female children and youth. With four sites in Suffolk County, our multi-faceted services include: casework and mental health counseling, medical and dental care, independent living skills training, education and recreation. In addition to our work, we also offer services to families in need of support and assistance.
Youth/ Sibling Specialists -FT and PT- overnight, evenings and weekend shifts available. Working with children(BIRTH-21 YO) that are siblings in a group home setting- participating in recreation, teaching independent living skills such as cooking, chores, etc. SUFFOLK COUNTY LOCATIONS. BA required and experience with youth in residential care a plus or Associate Degree plus 2 years of exp. Must possess a valid driver's license.
All positions require pre-employment finger printing, drug test, background check and physical/PPD. Competitive salary and benefits.
