Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Valid California licensure or eligibility as an SLP (CCC or CFY) or SLPA
- Prior school-based experience, especially with K-12 populations
- Strong background in pediatric speech-language therapy
- Ability to consult and collaborate with teachers, staff, and parents
- Skilled in assessments, therapy, documentation, and IEP participation
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility and adaptability to work across age groups and settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to K-12 students, tailoring interventions to meet individual needs
- Conduct comprehensive speech/language and communication assessments
- Develop and implement IEP goals in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Document student progress, prepare reports, and maintain compliance with all relevant regulations
- Engage with families and caregivers to equip them with strategies for at-home reinforcement
