Overview
The General Maintenance position (Located in the Tri-City area) is essential for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of facilities. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to keep the environment safe, functional, and aesthetically pleasing. The ideal candidate will possess a diverse skill set in maintenance practices and demonstrate a commitment to quality work and customer service.
Duties
- Conduct routine inspections of facilities to identify maintenance needs and safety hazards.
- Perform general repairs and maintenance on electrical systems, plumbing, HVAC, and other facility equipment.
- Execute residential painting tasks to maintain the appearance of buildings.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) for tracking work orders and inventory management.
- Read and interpret schematics to troubleshoot issues effectively.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and professionally.
Skills .
- Experience with facilities maintenance practices and procedures.
- Familiarity with CMMS software for managing maintenance activities.
- Ability to read schematics and technical drawings.
- Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Proficient in residential painting techniques for interior and exterior projects.
- Ability to use an ohmmeter and other diagnostic tools effectively.
- Strong customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction.
