Business Analyst DutiesResponsibilities
Sample responsibilities for this position include:

Participate in the quarter-end reporting process, analyzing results, and compiling logs

Be involved in various projects as required and prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis for the client as requested
-
Assist on special projects related to accounting activities that may involve coordinating and collating questionnaires from local entities, reviewing and following up on responses
-
Effectively problem solve, analyze information and present sound recommendations;
-
Research and resolve financial discrepancies;
-
Prepare reports in Navy ERP, an SAP product.
-
Assist with internal requests and compile necessary KSDs as required
-
Interface to geographically dispersed stakeholders and program leads
-
Initiate, maintain and improve relationships with stakeholders in locations
-
Prepare and edit PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
Ability to:

Handle multiple priorities simultaneously;

Prioritize workload and meet critical deadlines;
-
Provide lead direction and technical support to staff when required;
-
Work effectively with client staff and stakeholders;
-
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing;

Establish and maintain effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work;

Prepare reports and conduct presentations for a variety of audiences;

Effectively communicate complex concepts and detailed information;

Exercise sound judgment within established policies and procedures;

Utilize computer technology for communication, data gathering and reporting;
Must haves:
TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE

Any combination of experience and training that would likely provide the required knowledge and abilities would be: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with major in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or closely-related field of study required. If Bachelor's degree in the stipulated fields of study doesn't exist, demonstrated work experience in Accounting is acceptable

US Citizen with ability to attain a Secret clearance

Must be able to work three days per week at customer site in Falls Church, VA without relocation

Existing background in federal accounting space and/or DoD FM environment
Nice to haves:

Advanced Excel Skills
-
Previous experience in automation applications like Power BI, Power Query and Power Automate
-
Previous experience in SAP and its business intelligence platforms
