We are seeking a licensed Journeyman Electrician with strong residential service experience — someone confident troubleshooting in occupied homes, communicating clearly with customers, providing thorough estimates and job updates, and performing high‑quality work with minimal supervision. This role is ideal for an electrician who enjoys solving problems, working efficiently, and maintaining a positive, professional attitude in customer‑facing environments. Key Responsibilities:
- Residential service troubleshooting — diagnose and resolve electrical issues in occupied homes
- Installations & upgrades — receptacles, circuits, lighting, panels, EV chargers, and more
- Panel work — perform panel swaps, service upgrades, and load calculations
- Customer communication — explain findings, options, and recommendations clearly
- Safety & code compliance — ensure all work meets NEC and Oregon code standards
- Work independently — manage daily service calls efficiently
- Maintain clean work areas — protect customer homes and leave spaces spotless
- Collaborate with apprentices — teach skills, model professionalism, and support growth
- Document work — complete service notes and communicate job status clearly
- Estimating — Reviewing customer work scope and providing labor hours, materials and plan for install.
Requirements
- Active Oregon Journeyman Electrician License (J‑card)
- 2+ years residential service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills in occupied homes
- Ability to install circuits, panels, and equipment with minimal supervision
- Solid understanding of the NEC and residential code requirements
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on ladders as needed
- Professional communication and customer‑service mindset
- Ability to provide proactive and intuitive solutions
- Minor data entry requirements
