Responsibilities by Position
Server
- Provide warm, knowledgeable, and attentive service throughout each guest's dining experience.
- Guide guests through the menu, daily features, cocktails, beer, and wine selections.
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly while maintaining presentation standards.
- Anticipate guest needs and resolve concerns professionally.
- Maintain clean, organized sections and complete opening, side work, and closing duties.
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar to ensure timely service.
Host/Hostess
- Welcome every guest with warmth and professionalism.
- Manage reservations and wait lists efficiently.
- Seat guests while balancing server sections.
- Answer phones, assist with reservations, and provide accurate information to guests.
- Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entryway.
- Support servers by assisting with guest needs when appropriate.
- Create a positive first and last impression for every guest.
Kitchen Steward
- Wash, sanitize, dry, and organize all dishes, glassware, cookware, and utensils.
- Maintain cleanliness throughout the kitchen, dish area, and storage areas.
- Sweep, mop, and sanitize floors and workspaces.
- Remove trash and recycling while maintaining sanitation standards.
- Assist cooks with basic food preparation as needed.
- Receive and organize deliveries.
- Restock kitchen supplies and maintain organization throughout the kitchen.
- Support the culinary team wherever needed to ensure efficient service.
Qualifications
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependable with strong attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and during peak business periods.
- No experience necessary. Will train the right people!
