Fremont Surgery Center has been providing high quality care to patients in the Bay Area since 1996. Our facility is accredited by the American Association for Accreditation of Ambulatory Surgical Facilities (QUAD A) and certified by Medicare. We are one of the largest and busiest ambulatory surgery centers in Northern California. At this time, we are looking to expand our clinical team with the addition of full time GI/Endoscopy Registered Nurses.
General duties include:
· Supervises and directs patient care in the endoscopy room
· Addresses patient needs during admission to the endoscopy room
· Administers moderate sedation
· Accurately handles specimens
· Provides continuity of care by handing patient off to PACU nurse and providing necessary information regarding post procedural patient care
The ideal candidate for this position will have prior experience working with GI physicians during colonoscopies and EGDs as well as IVCS experience.
Minimum Requirements
Candidates must have current CA RN license, ACLS certification, and minimum 6 months moderate sedation experience.
Preferred Requirements
Moderate sedation certification is preferred but on-line training is offered by Fremont Surgery Center
This position is Monday through Friday with no weekends, major holidays, or call required.
