JOB SUMMARY:
The Production Line Lead is responsible for driving line efficiency, optimizing labor utilization, maintaining safe and compliant operations, and ensuring production goals are achieved. This position provides on-the-floor leadership, coaching, coordination, and communication to support daily manufacturing operations.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct pre-shift meetings and communicate safety, quality, staffing, and production expectations.
- Coordinate daily production activities, staffing, line flow, changeovers, and production priorities.
- Monitor production OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) performance on an hourly basis, quality, labor utilization, waste, downtime, scrap goals and overall operational performance.
- Provide coaching, training, and guidance to associates while supporting employee development and cross-training.
- Respond to downtime, troubleshoot operational issues, and coordinate support from maintenance, quality, and supervision.
- Complete production documentation, shift reports, labor tracking, and operational records accurately and timely.
- Communicate shift performance, inventory status, and operational concerns during shift handoffs.
- Ensure compliance with safety policies, GMPs, SOPs, and company standards.
- Escalate safety, quality, employee relations, and operational concerns as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- 2 + years of manufacturing leadership, lead, or supervisory experience preferred.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Working knowledge of safety requirements, GMPs, quality systems, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to train, coach, motivate and develop employees.
- Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability.
- Basic computer skills.
- Effective English communication skills; bilingual Spanish preferred.

Compensation:
Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $20/hour in our lowest geographic market up to $35/hour in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
