Job Description
- Spearhead business development initiatives that are consistent with the GreatNonprofits’ overall strategy
- Drive all phases of business development, including research, market analysis, due diligence, and evaluation of partners
- Proactively identify key growth areas and evaluate opportunities to build market share.
- Develop and manage programs for different buyer audiences, products and services
- Manage contract negotiations
- Build excellent working relationships at all levels while coordinating integration planning of new businesses
Development Management:
- Prospect and cultivate relationships with foundation staff and individual donors
- Prepare and submit foundation grants and corporate requests
Qualifications
Minimum of 5-8 years’ sales, marketing or business development experience- Previous experiences in software selling is an advantage
- Strong verbal and writing skills to communicate the GreatNonprofits mission to others effectively
- Strong public speaking experience
- Successful track record of business development, account management and sales strategy
- Excellent organizational and analytical skills and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
- Prior work or volunteer experience at a nonprofit
- Familiarity with fundraising required
