SUMMARY:
The Panel Pro will become an expert in various positions plant wide, including but not limited to, Prefinish, Layup, SCP and Central. This position will work where needed.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Train and become an expert in various jobs throughout the Prefinish, Layup, SCP and Central departments by completing JIB’S and JSA’s.

Basic knowledge of Microsoft AX.

Ability to read and follow layup list.

Always Be Safety Conscious
-
Participate in Kaizen, 5S events
-
Must support the team in achieving all Safety, Production and Quality goals.
- Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.
QUALIFICATIONS:

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:

Forklift certification card a plus – willingness to attend forklift training to obtain card.

Knowledge of grades of different species of wood or panels a plus.
LANGUAGE SKILLS:

Ability to follow oral or written instructions as provided by supervisor or company.
- Clear and effective communication and listening skills and experience.

Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents such as safety rules, operation, and maintenance instructions for various equipment in the plant.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS:

Basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division.

Ability to calculate basic percentages.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals.
