Travel Baseball Lead Coach (Paid Position)

Position Overview:
Next Level Sports Center is seeking multiple paid Travel Baseball Lead Coaches to take ownership of individual teams within our growing travel program. This role works under the direction of our Baseball Director and is responsible for leading a team through practices, tournaments, and player development throughout the season.
We are looking for coaches who bring energy, leadership, and a passion for developing athletes in a competitive but positive environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage an assigned travel baseball team throughout the season
- Plan and run structured, high-energy practices focused on skill development and game situations
- Coach athletes during tournaments, league play, and scrimmages
- Build a strong team culture centered on effort, accountability, and sportsmanship
- Communicate effectively with players, parents, and the Baseball Director
- Provide consistent feedback to athletes to support their growth and confidence
- Collaborate with the Baseball Director on player development and program standards
- Ensure a safe, organized, and positive experience for all athletes
Qualifications:
- Previous baseball coaching and/or playing experience (travel or high school level preferred)
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Ability to connect with and motivate athletes
- Knowledge of baseball fundamentals, rules, and in-game strategy
- Reliable and organized, with the ability to manage a team schedule
- Availability for practices and weekend tournaments
Compensation:
- This is a paid coaching position
- Competitive hourly or seasonal stipend (based on experience and team level)
