Join our dynamic team as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) in a Home Health setting , where you will play a vital role in supporting children’s communication development and enhancing their quality of life. This rewarding position involves providing specialized speech therapy services to pediatric patients within homes, daycares or ABA Centers. You will collaborate closely with families, educators, and healthcare professionals to deliver impactful interventions that foster growth and confidence in young learners.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement individualized therapy plans tailored to each child's unique needs, focusing on areas such as articulation, language comprehension, fluency, voice, and social communication.
- Deliver engaging speech therapy sessions that incorporate evidence-based practices, early intervention strategies, and age-appropriate activities.
- Monitor patient progress regularly, adjusting treatment plans to ensure optimal outcomes and maintain detailed documentation of therapy sessions and assessments.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, caregivers, and healthcare providers to coordinate care plans and provide guidance on supporting communication development at home and in school environments.
- Educate families about speech and language disorders, treatment goals, and strategies to reinforce progress outside of therapy sessions.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing requirements, medical terminology standards, and confidentiality regulations to ensure high-quality patient care.
Requirements
- Proven ability to perform thorough patient assessments and develop effective intervention strategies for diverse communication disorders.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to connect with young patients and collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams.
- A passion for early intervention services that promote developmental milestones in children from infancy through school age.
- Valid licensure or certification as an SLPA in accordance with state regulations; ongoing professional development is encouraged.

Pay is per 30 min session: $40.00-45.00
