Position Description: Pineapple Carpet Cleaning is looking for an experienced carpet cleaning technician. We are an established carpet cleaning business based in Utah county. Unlike some carpet cleaners who try to do everything, Pineapple focuses primarily on cleaning carpets and upholstery and being the best at it. Over 535 5-star Google reviews back this up. This role has a guaranteed wage, however techs get paid a percentage of each job to incentivize upselling and efficiency to maximize their earnings. 100% of tips are yours to keep, so actual pay will typically be 5-10% greater than the guaranteed wage + commissions.
Position Responsibilities: You will be working with another tech and will be scheduled 4-6 jobs a day, Monday through Friday, typically from 9am - 5pm and will also have jobs scheduled one Saturday a month, 9am-1pm. You will be responsible for handling customer interactions in a professional and friendly manner while providing a 5-star customer experience and service, cleaning customers’ carpets and upholstery. You will follow a checklist of items that have to happen on every job to ensure the customer has the experience Pineapple wants them to have so they are willing to leave a 5 star review.
Position Qualifications: Previous carpet cleaning experience is a prerequisite. Additional training will be provided to ensure you have the skills and knowledge to provide the best service possible in the way Pineapple Carpet Cleaning is known for. We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic, takes ownership of their role, is coachable, and has the poise and professionalism we want in this role.
Additional Info: Paid holidays + 7 additional days of paid time off per year.
Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
