We are seeking a motivated and experienced Owner Operator Flatbed Driver to join our team. As an Owner Operator, you will be responsible for transporting goods using your own flatbed truck. This position offers the opportunity to be your own boss and enjoy the benefits of running your own business while working in partnership with our company.

Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain your own flatbed truck to transport various types of cargo, including but not limited to construction materials, equipment, and machinery.
- Ensure safe loading, securement, and unloading of cargo according to industry standards and company guidelines.
- Plan and execute efficient routes to meet delivery schedules and customer requirements.
- Adhere to all local, state, and federal transportation regulations, including DOT and FMCSA guidelines.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of your vehicle and report any maintenance or repair needs promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of mileage, fuel consumption, and cargo documentation.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, customers, and other team members to coordinate pickup and delivery details.
- Provide exceptional customer service by delivering goods in a timely and professional manner.
- Uphold high standards of safety, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) when required.
- Manage and track expenses related to truck maintenance, fuel, tolls, and other operational costs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with endorsements for operating a flatbed trailer.
- Proven experience as an owner operator flatbed driver, demonstrating a safe and reliable driving record.
- Proficient knowledge of flatbed trucking operations, securement techniques, and load distribution.
- Ability to operate flatbed trailers, including step decks.
- Strong understanding of DOT regulations and FMCSA compliance requirements.
- Excellent navigation and route planning skills, utilizing GPS and paper maps as needed.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to handle unexpected situations with professionalism and efficiency.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with customers, dispatchers, and team members.
- Physical fitness and stamina to handle the physical demands of the job, including loading and unloading cargo and securing loads.
- High level of responsibility, self-motivation, and ability to work independently.
- Business acumen and financial responsibility to manage operational costs and ensure profitability as an owner operator.
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Able to submit to background checks and drug screenings as required by the company or regulatory bodies
