SUMMARY
The Mutuel Supervisor assists in overseeing the daily operations of the pari-mutuel wagering, adherence to regulatory standards, and exceptional customer service.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure that all betting transactions are processed accurately and in compliance with regulatory and company policies.

Monitor wagering activity and escalate any unusual behavior or technical issues to appropriate management or departments.

Provide daily operational support, including opening/closing procedures.

Resolve customer disputes or escalate complex issues to the Mutuel Manager as necessary.

Maintain a clean, organized, and secure environment.

Work in coordination with Risk Management and Compliance teams to ensure proper documentation and incident reporting.

You will be responsible to report shortages and overages to the Mutuel Manager.

Will be handling large sums of money.

All other duties as assigned.
REPORTING LINE
You will report directly to the Mutuel Manager and then to the Director of Racing
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS

Previous cash handling experience preferred.

Must be capable to implement the WV rules of Racing.

Confidentiality of procedures and information is a must.

Basic knowledge of computer operations

Excellent communication skills.

Must be committed to 100% customer service.

Must be able to comprehend a Union contract

Must be well organized and detail oriented and be able to multi-task.

Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Must be at least 21.

Must be able to pass a background investigation and obtain and maintain a WV Racing License.
EDUCATIONAL AND/OR EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or equivalent.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
You will need to be able to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time. May be exposed to working in a noisy, lights, smoke secondary smoke environment. The ability to push, pull, kneel, twist, carry and lift up to 25 lbs.
