American Traveler is seeking an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of experience and ARRT/ARMRIT certification for an acute care hospital position working evening shifts in a Main MRI unit.

Experience with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI scanners is required; a 1.5T Siemens scanner is also in use at the facility

EMR system is Epic

Evening shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM

8-hour shifts
-
On-call rotation runs Monday to Monday, approximately once per month; hours are 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM (Mon–Fri) and 7:00 AM – 7:00 AM the following day on weekends
-
On weekends, if there is a call-in during the 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM scheduled shift, the on-call tech is required to cover the shift

Call-back is rare, averaging 2–4 times per month total

Minimum of 2 years of MRI Technologist experience

Active BLS certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted

ARRT or ARMRIT MRI certification required; pending certifications will not be accepted

TX state license is not required for this position; license required if applicable

Active state or compact (NLC) licensure required; pending licenses will not be accepted

Familiarity with Philips 1.5T and 3T MRI systems required

2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire

Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit or affiliated facility (including CHI or Dignity Health) within the past year are not eligible; candidates employed PRN through outside staffing firms will be considered

Daily parking is available on and off campus; rates range from approximately $15/day or $95–$120/month for a parking pass
