About the Role
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Shipping & Receiving Lead to join our team. This is a hands-on position responsible for overseeing daily shipping and receiving operations while ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and quality in a fast-paced environment.
The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and capable of leading by example while maintaining the flow of products and materials throughout the facility.
Schedule: Full-time, first shift
Workweek Options: 5 Days – Monday - Friday
Compensation: Competitive and negotiable based on experience
What You’ll Do
Key Responsibilities
- Pack and ship products to customers using the most efficient methods while considering delivery deadlines and shipping costs
- Expedite rush orders as needed
- Perform quality control checks on incoming and outgoing products
- Complete shipment documentation using MIS, FedEx, and UPS systems
- Schedule shipments with couriers and common carriers
- Receive incoming products into the MIS system, verify accurate counts, and distribute items to designated storage areas
- Maintain inventory counts for fulfillment items
- Order and maintain shipping and packaging supplies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Coordinate and schedule driver deliveries
- Serve as a backup driver when needed
- Assist with additional duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For
- 3+ years of shipping and receiving experience
- Experience with FedEx and UPS shipping systems
- Strong computer skills and strong math skills
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to lift and move cartons weighing 50–75 lbs.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment and handle paper products/materials
- High School diploma or equivalent required
- Must successfully pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Reliable, self-motivated, and team-oriented attitude
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced warehouse or production environment
