Responsibilities
- Install new HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, furnaces, boilers, and ventilation equipment in residential properties.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to ensure precise installation.
- Conduct system inspections and troubleshoot issues using tools like ohmmeters and other diagnostic equipment.
- Perform routine maintenance, repairs, and upgrades on existing HVAC units to optimize performance.
- Collaborate with team members on complex projects involving plumbing connections, refrigeration systems, or ammonia refrigeration components.
- Ensure all installations comply with local codes, safety standards, and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and parts used during each project.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with a focus on residential systems.
- Strong mechanical knowledge including familiarity with schematics, HVAC design principles, plumbing, refrigeration, and appliance repair.
- Field service experience working with air conditioning units, boilers, property maintenance tasks, and equipment repair.
- Ability to operate diagnostic tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment effectively.
- Knowledge of HVAC/R (Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning & Refrigeration), ammonia refrigeration systems, and boiler mechanics is highly desirable.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; commercial driver’s license (CDL) or <PERSON> driver certification is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with the ability to work independently or as part of a team in various property environments. Pay: $20.00 - $32.50 per hour
