Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Abeka Curriculum Coordinator and Circle Curriculum to lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of educational programs. In this role, you will collaborate closely with educators, instructional designers, and technology specialists to create engaging, effective learning experiences. Your expertise will ensure that curricula meet organizational goals, adhere to industry standards, and utilize the latest learning technologies. Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and update curriculum content aligned with instructional goals and learner needs using instructional design principles such as ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation).
- Manage project timelines and coordinate resources to ensure timely delivery of curriculum materials across various platforms.
- Develop engaging e-learning modules utilizing tools like Adobe Captivate and SCORM-compliant packages for seamless LMS integration.
- Collaborate with subject matter experts to translate complex concepts into clear, accessible content suitable for adult learners in both online and classroom settings.
- Oversee the deployment of curricula within Learning Management Systems (LMS) such as Blackboard or other learning technology platforms, ensuring accessibility and functionality.
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to familiarize educators and trainers with new curricula and learning technologies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of instructional programs through feedback collection, assessments, and data analysis to inform continuous improvement efforts.
Experience
- Proven experience in curriculum development, instructional design, or related roles within education or corporate training environments.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple initiatives simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
- Familiarity with adult education principles and classroom teaching experience enhances content relevance and engagement.
- Proficiency in LMS platforms such as Blackboard or similar systems; experience with SCORM standards for online content interoperability.
- Expertise in learning technology tools including Adobe Captivate, Articulate Storyline, or similar authoring software.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse teams and delivering compelling presentations.
- Demonstrated ability to develop content for various formats—digital modules, instructor-led sessions, and blended learning environments—using strong writing skills.
