S*eeking a dynamic and experienced Lead Construction Superintendent *to oversee and coordinate all aspects of construction projects from inception to completion. This role is vital in ensuring projects are executed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The Lead Construction Super will lead on-site teams, manage subcontractors, interpret technical drawings, and ensure compliance with federal safety regulations. This energetic leader will drive project success through proactive management, meticulous planning, and effective communication across all stakeholders.

Duties
- Lead and supervise construction teams, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure efficient workflow and adherence to project schedules.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical documents to verify project scope and specifications.
- Coordinate construction schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software to ensure timely completion of milestones.
- Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes with clarity and precision to maintain budget integrity.
- Conduct quality control inspections and oversee safety compliance in accordance with OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations.
- Utilize construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, HeavyBid, and other tools to track progress, document issues, and communicate updates effectively.
- Oversee construction site activities including safety protocols, material handling, equipment operation (such as ohmmeters), and daily site inspections.
- Review construction drawings for accuracy; interpret schematics; supervise blueprint reading; ensure technical compliance throughout the project lifecycle.
- Monitor project budgets; assist in estimating costs; manage resources efficiently to maximize productivity without compromising quality.
- Facilitate project scheduling coordination by managing critical path activities and resolving scheduling conflicts proactively.
- Ensure all team members adhere to OSHA guidelines; implement safety training programs; conduct site safety audits regularly.
- Maintain detailed records of project progress, incidents, inspections, and compliance documentation for transparency and accountability.
Experience
- Proven experience managing large-scale construction projects with a strong background in heavy civil or federal construction environments.
- Demonstrated supervisory experience leading diverse teams on active construction sites with a focus on safety and quality standards.
- Extensive knowledge of construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P3), HeavyBid or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of construction scheduling techniques; ability to develop detailed project timelines and adjust plans as needed.
- Familiarity with interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and schematics for various types of construction projects.
- Experience managing contracts, change orders, budgeting processes, and procurement activities within a construction setting.
- Knowledge of OSHA regulations along with federal safety standards applicable to heavy civil or infrastructure projects.
- Skilled in managing multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail under tight deadlines.
- Construction site experience including supervision of field personnel; proficiency with tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing is a plus.
Pay: $140,000.00 - $170,000.00 per year
