Job Purpose
The SRS clerk receives daily motor carrier shipments of components to make the company’s products. This person packages finished products for shipment via motor carrier and logs all transactions in the company's system. The SRS clerk manages the flow of parts that are used to assemble the company’s products. This person works with other production personnel to receive, move, store, distribute and log parts and raw materials in the company's system.
Job Responsibility Summary
- Packing instruments and other products for shipment to customers
- Receive shipments of material and equipment related to company operations
- Enter received material into RRM system against purchase orders
- Maintain supply of packaging materials
- Use foam packaging equipment
- Interact with transportation personnel
- Maintain the company’s stockroom
- Pick parts for customer orders
- Enter raw materials and parts into inventory system
- Data entry into company's tracking system
Special Knowledge/ Skills:
Required:
- Recognize component characteristics for identification
- Handle UPS, airfreight, and motor carrier shipments
- Ability to lift and gently handle fragile 50 pound products
- Understand the role of parts availability to support manufacturing deadlines
- Picking and kitting parts to be used for assembly
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
