Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Dental Hygienist to join our vibrant dental team. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough dental cleanings, including scaling and polishing to remove plaque and tartar buildup.
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including taking vital signs and medical history reviews.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices, preventive care, and treatment options.
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) using systems to ensure accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments according to infection control protocols.
- Collaborate with dentists and dental office staff to coordinate patient care and streamline office operations.
Experience
- Proven experience working as a Dental Hygienist in a busy dental clinic or similar setting.
- Knowledge of dental terminology, procedures, and best practices across general dentistry disciplines including orthodontics, prosthodontics, pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, and periodontics.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations related to patient privacy and medical coding standards.
- Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration.

Pay: $42.45 - $51.12 per hour
