Duties
- Lead and supervise all store activities, including sales, merchandising, inventory control, and cash handling to ensure smooth operations.
- Recruit, interview, train, and develop staff to build a high-performing team dedicated to delivering outstanding customer service.
- Manage employee schedules, shift assignments, and payroll processing to optimize staffing levels and operational efficiency.
- Oversee inventory management, including stock ordering, purchasing, pricing strategies, and stock replenishment to maintain optimal product availability.
- Implement effective marketing initiatives and promotional displays to attract customers and boost sales.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, health and safety regulations, and store procedures at all times.
- Handle customer inquiries, resolve complaints promptly, and foster strong relationships with shoppers to enhance loyalty.
- Utilize POS (Point of Sale) systems for transactions, sales tracking, and reporting; maintain accurate bookkeeping records.
Requirements
- Proven management experience in retail or grocery store environments with supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong skills in negotiation, employee orientation, interviewing techniques, and recruiting processes.
- Multilingual or bilingual abilities are highly desirable for engaging diverse customer bases.
- Extensive knowledge of retail math including pricing strategies, sales management, budgeting, and inventory control.
- Proficiency with POS systems, cash handling procedures, merchandising tools, and store management software.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with leadership qualities that inspire teamwork and motivate staff.
- Demonstrated ability in training & development programs to enhance employee performance.
- Experience in supervising retail sales teams within fast food stores is preferred.
- Ability to manage time effectively across shift management duties while maintaining high standards of customer service.
