Job Title: General Laborer
Pay Rate: $19/hour
Available Schedule: Monday–Friday, 5:30AM–2:00PM and 1:30PM–10:00PM (mandatory overtime)
Location: Phoenix, Arizona
This is a Temp-to-Hire Opportunity
Madden Industrial Craftsmen, a premier staffing agency, is looking to fill a General Laborer position with a manufacturing company located in Phoenix, AZ. The client specializes in custom heat exchanger coils, fluid coolers, and remote air-cooled condensers for OEM and replacement markets.
General Laborer Requirements
- At least 1 year of manufacturing, fabrication, construction, or industrial labor experience.
- Experience using power tools such as grinders, drills, nail guns, impact drivers, or similar hand tools.
- Comfortable assisting multiple departments, including assembly, machine operation, shipping & receiving, and material handling.
- Experience operating or working around overhead cranes or other lifting equipment is a plus.
- Experience working with sheet metal, steel, aluminum, copper, coils, or other metal products preferred.
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure (required).
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work on your feet throughout the shift.
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to adapt to changing production needs.
- Must pass a background check and drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Support multiple production departments as needed.
- Assist assemblers and machine operators with production.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the facility.
- Use hand and power tools to complete production tasks.
- Assist Shipping & Receiving with material movement and staging.
- Help maintain production flow by filling in where needed.
- Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean work area.
