We’re looking for an experienced Custom Automotive Technician to join our team and contribute to high-quality modifications, performance upgrades on classic cars and trucks. If you’re passionate about classic rides and thrive when working with your hands, we want to hear from you!
Not currently looking for a body technician. Specifically looking for an installer/fabricator.
Responsibilities
Work collaboratively with team members to enhance efficiency and troubleshoot issues.
Maintain accountability and be open to constructive feedback.
Ensure projects stay within budget range while delivering top-tier craftsmanship.
Accurately track time, materials, and resources used for each project.
Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment.
Assist teammates as needed to maintain workflow and meet deadlines.
Demonstrate and continue to pursue new knowledge of methods, techniques, tools, and materials in automotive restoration.
Follow OSHA safety protocols, including the proper use of PPE (gloves, eyewear, etc.).
Take on additional responsibilities as assigned to support the shop’s success.
Key Skills
- Experience and Proficiency in customizing classic cars and installing aftermarket parts/upgrades.
- Strong electrical system knowledge a plus.
- Understanding of OEM & aftermarket carburetor and EFI systems.
- Experience with chassis modification and assembly, steering, and suspension.
- Drivetrain adjustments and troubleshooting knowledge.
- Ability to fabricate a plus.
- Aftermarket EFI tuning capabilities a plus.

- Ability to identify problems and recommend process improvements.

- A motivated, self-driven work ethic suited for a fast-paced shop environment.
- May need to provide some basic personal tools for daily tasks.

Minimum Qualifications
4+ years of experience in the custom car, truck, and/or hot rod industry.
Must have a high school diploma.
Must have a valid Tennessee Drivers License.
Proven ability to learn quickly and adapt to evolving projects.
Apprenticeships/internships are not available at this time.
