Overview
We are seeking a reliable, patient, and caring nanny to provide attentive childcare for an infant and a three-year-old child on Wednesdays through Fridays. This role offers an exciting opportunity to support the development and well-being of young children in a nurturing environment. Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and care for both infant and toddler, ensuring their safety at all times
- Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, nap times, and age-appropriate activities
- Prepare nutritious meals and snacks tailored to each child's dietary needs and preferences
- Engage children with educational play, reading, singing, and creative activities to promote development
- Maintain a clean and organized environment by performing light housekeeping tasks related to childcare, such as cleaning toys and children's areas
- Support preschool readiness by encouraging social skills, sharing, and basic learning activities
- Administer basic first aid when necessary and follow safety protocols diligently
Qualifications
- Proven experience working with infants and young children in a nannying or daycare setting
- Knowledge of child development milestones for infants and preschoolers
- Certification in first aid and CPR is highly preferred
- Ability to handle caregiving responsibilities with patience, compassion, and flexibility
- Familiarity with meal preparation suitable for young children and managing special dietary requirements
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with parents and caregivers
