We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering high-quality patient care by performing clinical tasks such as taking vital signs, conducting patient intake, and administering medications.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records (EHR) systems, ensuring compliance with medical terminology and coding standards, including ICD coding.
- Support the medical team in outpatient clinics
- Prepare patients for examinations and procedures, ensuring their comfort and understanding of the process.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes through effective communication and teamwork.
- Demonstrate knowledge of medicine
- willingness to learn and adapt fast
Experience
- Certification as a Medical Assistant is required.
- Previous experience in hospital settings or clinics is preferred.
- Familiarity with eclinicalworks medical charting
- Experience with EHR systems for documentation and patient management is necessary.
- Knowledge of medical terminology
