At Kitchen Fresh Foods, the Midwest’s leader in freshly prepared sandwiches and related food products, uptime matters. We’re looking for an Electromechanical Reliability Technician who thrives on diagnosing issues fast and preventing repeat problems.
Shift: 2-2-3 rotation, 12 hours, 5:00 PM–5:00 AM
- Can you install and maintain production and facility equipment with confidence?
- Do emergency/unscheduled repairs energize you when the line is on the clock?
- Are you comfortable tackling basic machinist work alongside mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic tasks?
- When a fault appears, can you diagnose, repair/replace parts, test, and dial in adjustments quickly?
- Will you own preventive maintenance to keep equipment performing at its best?
- Are plumbing and carpentry within your maintenance toolkit?
- Do you work expertly with hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment?
- Can you spot abnormal operations or defective materials and escalate to supervisors immediately?
- Do you live safety—especially Lockout/Tagout—and maintain a spotless work area?
- Have you helped launch new lines, test packaging or products, and support installations?
- Do you collaborate with operators to hit schedules, troubleshoot, and implement corrective actions that stop issues from recurring?
- Are you ready to lead by coaching operators on basic PM and making setting tweaks that lift efficiency?
- Can you support sanitation tear-downs and reassembly so changeovers are precise and downtime stays low?
- Install/maintain production machinery and plant equipment.
- Perform emergency and scheduled repairs.
- Execute simple machinist duties.
- Apply mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic skills to troubleshoot issues.
- Diagnose problems; replace/repair components; test and adjust.
- Perform regular PM on machines, equipment, and facilities.
- Handle plumbing maintenance and carpentry tasks.
- Utilize hand/power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
- Detect faulty operations/defective material; report to supervision.
- Comply with safety rules and maintain clean, orderly areas.
- Support new line start-ups, packaging/product testing, and installations.
- Partner with operators for schedule attainment, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Provide leadership by teaching basic PM and optimizing settings for efficiency.
- Assist with equipment tear-down, sanitation, and reassembly to minimize changeover time.
