Job Description
- Provide direct care and support services to individuals with intellectual disabilities in the form of assistance with personal hygiene, behavioral supports, community integration, and implementation of individualized service plan training.
- Maintain accurate data and complete detailed, written documentation of individuals' daily activities and training in compliance with regulatory and licensure standards.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings. Performs other work as required.
- Create/organize Arts and Crafts projects.
- Create and research community activities.
- Be able to complete progress notes.
- Ensure that fire drills are performed monthly.
- Maintain confidentiality of consumer records
- Attend and satisfactorily complete all required in-service training in areas such as first aid, CPR, seizure control, medication management, Medicaid information, etc.
