Introduction:
Common Ground Hospitality is seeking skilled and passionate Line Cooks to join our culinary team. This role is essential in our kitchen operations, requiring precision, speed, and a commitment to quality. As a Line Cook, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our experienced chefs and contribute to the creation of exceptional dishes. This position is ideal for those who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to learn and grow in the culinary field.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook menu items in accordance with recipes and standards.
- Maintain a clean and organized station, ensuring all necessary supplies are available.
- Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure timely and efficient food preparation.
- Adhere to food safety and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Assist with inventory management and proper storage of ingredients.
- Provide input on menu items, demonstrating creativity and a passion for food.
- Continuously learn and apply new cooking techniques and skills.
- Assist in any other BOH capacity needed
Minimum Qualifications:
- Prior experience as a Line Cook or in a similar role in a restaurant kitchen preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of various cooking methods, ingredients, and equipment preffered.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Time management and Multitasking skills are a must.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- Availability to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
